Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve set sales goals and objectives.
  • Understand marketplace trends relative to the footwear and wellness industry to make decisions and recommendations based upon customer needs.
  • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of product lines and services.
  • Fully understand daily account operations and functions to ensure successful setup.
  • Exercise independent judgement while introducing new products and services to new customers based upon customer safety and wellness needs, policies, and system requirements.
  • Meet directly with customers, KAE, and RAM to gather information to make decisions on proper setup.
    • Determine best billing practices.
    • Determine the most efficient way to receive employee data.
    • Determine safety requirements.
    • Determine the breakdown of different departments and locations.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to request the necessary setup requirements such as account groups, rep assignments, and special account functionality.
  • Track and follow up on special setup requests.
  • Introduce customer to customized website and account functions.
  • Sell products and services to customers based upon identified needs and requirements during the setup phase.
  • Track setup progress to ensure accounts are setup in a timely manner.
  • Draft Supplier Agreements and submit for signature when necessary.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials.
  • Update and maintain command center users.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of existing Key Accounts and distributors.
  • Analyze requirements of ADF (automated data feed) and set up accordingly by strategizing with the customer and internal operations team.
  • Log all sales activities in proper database.
  • Generate and manipulate pivot tables including our internal sales data, CRM Advanced Finds and CustomFit Data.
  • Collaborate and strategize with Regional Account Manager, Account Setup, Account Financial Services, Business Relationship Specialists and Customer Service to ensure an efficient and streamlined setup process for the customer.
  • Work with the Key Account Executives, Regional Account Managers, and Business Relationship Specialists to grow business.
  • Provide a smooth transition in account ownership to the assigned Business Relationship Specialist.
  • Schedule initial onsite events.
  • Coordinate calendars for events with available sales reps.
  • Work closely with Traveling Sales Reps to ensure successful ordering events.
  • Coordinate promos to drive sales growth.
  • Perform account maintenance checks.
  • Respond to both internal and external communications within a timely manner.
  • Encouraged utilization of social media, specifically LinkedIn, to promote CustomFit in a manner that will lead to increased business relationships and sales.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or two (2) years of sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate level experience scheduling and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • The ability to travel 10% of the time and overnight to events or trade shows.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Superior verbal, listening and written communication skills.
  • Advanced level of organizational and multitasking skills
  • PC skills including intermediate skill level of experience using Microsoft Suite applications, especially Excel and MS Dynamic CRM, and Google Drive.
  • Ability to process information quickly and take proactive action.
