Overview343 Industries is the developer of the blockbuster Halo series of video games. As part of Xbox Game Studios, the Halo franchise encompasses games, television series, novels, comics, licensed collectibles, apparel and more. We are looking for new Spartans to join our team to build the next generation of games and experiences in our award-winning sci-fi universe. Do you understand modern console/PC games and have experience with live service games? Do you closely collaborate with teams to drive inspiring, cohesive gameplay experiences? We are looking for a Producer to join our team to leverage knowledge of the end-to-end game production lifecycle to ensure forward movement in a timely manner, while retaining quality within the product. Drive execution of teams that may span multiple disciplines and connect external teams with high level of industry knowledge and experience. Proactively identify and escalate problems and drive resolution of obstacles and complex issues within and across teams by applying data, with multiple options for resolution demonstrating tradeoff of cost, quality, and time. Create, lead, and execute strategy with supporting team. Generate and complete data collection and reporting methods autonomously. Work with and leads cross-functional and/or core teams to create clarity, generate energy, and deliver success in the production of games. ResponsibilitiesThey will be responsible for owning key areas of projects and overall tasks and: Leverage knowledge of the end-to-end game production life cycle to ensure forward movement in a timely manner, while retaining quality within the product. Contribute to creating and spacing effective and achievable product milestones. Monitor and manage the progression of game production through milestones, identify opportunities for planning or process improvements. Monitor, resolve, and react to missed milestones or goals within scope of work. Establish and track processes of game production in collaboration with stakeholders. Drive accountability with product stakeholders both within game production and across disciplines for following the established processes. Identify sponsors and product stakeholders and secure resources where necessary. Ensure work alignment, identify opportunities for and implement process improvements, and support or promote the adoption of processes. Establish processes and report back on process status relative to milestones. Leverage knowledge of Scrum and Agile principles, processes, and events to organize and execute on work across multiple teams. Create, lead, and execute strategy with supporting team. Collaborate with discipline peers and stakeholders to align priorities and create clarity around processes. Cooperate and lead conversations with peers to ensure that priorities are aligned with goals and milestones, interdependent teams and processes, and conceptualizations of finalized products. Provide input on aligning stakeholders within or across teams to ensure successful collaboration. Contribute to partnerships with stakeholders across Xbox (e.g., marketing, platforming) to share technology and best practices and leverage strengths of Xbox broadly. Effectively leverage relationships with contributors to identify potential threats or roadblocks to products (internal to production, postproduction, and externally that impact the product, its sustainment, and ongoing implications). Scope problems by identifying key issues, inputs, and outcomes, and escalate risks identified to senior producers with comprehensive solutions. Demonstrate the ability to execute solutions autonomously. Leverage and manage relationships with stakeholders within game production and cross-functionally (e.g., engineering, art) to ensure that teams are functioning at a rate that fits pre-established timelines and is aligned for milestone achievement. Contribute to outward relationship management across internal groups within the project, and with other studios to share best practices and cultivate relationships. Communicate with others across methods of interacting with an adaptive and versatile approach based on the audience and applies effective communication to accomplish work effectively. Foster effective and inclusive relationships with contributors to project. Communicate with team members and contributors through meetings to effectively provide updates to members, gather information, and ensure alignment in dependencies. Apply meeting outcomes to create and implement results. Work with and leads cross-functional and/or core teams to create clarity, generate energy, and deliver success in the production of games. Leverage relationships with others to influence toward a common goal. Demonstrate effective team leadership skills. Lead cross-functional teams in the full cycle of game production for a particular game or product, and that their cross-functional team understands the full scope of roles and responsibilities. Leverage relationships with contributors and discipline peers from varied groups and teams to achieve alignment of priorities and successful game production. Understand and contribute to team well-being and sustainment. Communicate and connect with partners contracted to assist in game production external to Microsoft by working on day-to-day partnership management efforts and contributing to communications with external partners. Foster relationship with external partners and vendors for long-term success. Liaison between partner studios and Microsoft to ensure alignment and quality of work of external partners with pre-established guidelines or milestones. Embody our Culture and Values
