Job Description

988 Call Center Specialist

Overnight shift 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM Saturday through Tuesday

Full Time Direct Hire

Responsibilities

  • Provides mental health and crisis intervention supports to individuals contacting the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline via phone, chat or text.
  • Works collaboratively and engages individual contacting 988 to manage and de-escalate crises in the least invasive manner possible to ensure safety.
  • Collaboratively develops and assists in implementation of crisis safety plans.
  • Provides mental health referrals and linkages as appropriate during service provision.
  • Offers and provides follow-up services to 988 utilizers presenting with suicide ideation.

Candidates for consideration require either a Bachelor's in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
