About the role:
As Senior Programmer/Analyst with the Output Solutions group, you'll help develop new fintech products that will change the way the world pays, banks and invests within print and mail operations. This could involve working with bleeding edge technology while coding, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications.

About the team:
The Output Solutions DEV Team is responsible for providing application software development services and support to internal and external customers. This team is responsible for strategically enhancing the way Output Solutions functions and looking for efficiency gains and development of standard, resuable solutions.

What you will be doing:
* Provide application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.
* Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
* Code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.
* Make recommendations for development best practices.
* Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented.
* Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the print and mail services industry.
* Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs.
* Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation.
* Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems and engage the other development teams to follow improved processes.
* Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.
* Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
* Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations.
* May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.

What you will need:
* OpenText Exstream

* Perl

* PDF manipulation

* CSF

* Experience work with SQL and enterprise systems

* 10+ years in strategic processing or solution architecture
* Experience gathering new information and share ideas in a group format with management level participants

* Knowledge of modern, end-to-end systems development life cycles.
* Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines.
* Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
* Ability to willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
* Excellent problem-solving, team and time management skills

* A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
