Position Summary

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, performance and supervision of the Inside Sales department which includes Customer Service Reps and Account Managers as well as the quarterly sales reporting and marketing needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages and maintains quarterly sales reporting
  • Manages and maintains marketing needs including brochures, marketing giveaways and trade shows
  • Manages requests for upcoming visitors related to marketing
  • Manages tech center requirements, making sure the room is stocked and ready at all times
  • Manages, supervises, and directs the efforts of Customer Service Reps and Account Managers within the Inside Sales department, who sell or support sales of company products to customers, and advise customers on product use, pricing, technical support, shipments and applications by phone, fax, mail, e-mail or via direct contact
  • Interprets customer requirements from verbal or written inquiries
  • Interfaces with Engineering and Production Control to ensure customer objectives are met
  • Checks progress of orders placed, ensuring requirements are met according to purchase order requirements
  • Trains, develops, and motivates assigned staff, conducts performance reviews, goal setting and day-to-day evaluations
  • Monitors programs and procedures for internal sales processes including quoting, entering orders and managing customer satisfaction
  • Establishes policy guidelines in responding to requests for returns, repairs, and the handling of customer concerns
  • Provides guidance to staff interpreting and enforcing corporate policy
  • Makes recommendations for changes in day-to-day operations, policy and employee development to Management

Minimum Education or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline desirable
  • 3+ years experience in a management or supervisory role

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $107,400 to $161,200 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 3X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
