The Commercial Analyst will work directly with the internal and external key account and cross-functional teams to analyze, identify, and drive current and future sales. In this role, the Commercial Analyst is responsible for driving sales with key accounts through analysis of sales trends and stock levels to identify and pursue at once and future sales opportunities. Additional responsibilities include coordination and preparation of forecast and demand plans and assist in the preparation of vendor worksheets.

What You'll Do

Analytics and Sales Development:

  • Develop a consistent drumbeat to report sell through & forecasting data across channels to inform strategic decisions.
  • Responsible for Data Collection and Cleaning: Capture raw data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness. Cleanse and preprocess the data to remove inconsistencies, missing values, and outliers.
  • Develop gross market value measurements to analyze brand penetration by geography and understand key markets/epicenters that include clear and informative charts to visualize historical data and forecasted trends.
  • Manage data tools such as SPS/Circana and has direct connection to account teams reporting contacts.
  • Analyzes, identifies, and pursues areas to drive sales, market share, and generate new business through a consultative sales approach.
  • Support Sales team through analysis and insights to aid in planning assortments aligned with category targets and business development plans.
  • Partner to develop strategic sales and promotional opportunities based on market share data, trends, and the market's competitive landscape.
  • Increases revenue and profitability and minimizes risk by generating and running accurate item level demand forecasts.
  • Assists in the flow of goods management, working directly with the planning and supply chain teams.
  • Builds and maintains great working relationships with the account teams and all cross- functional areas within Stanley.

Who You Are:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated expertise building dashboards, reports, and analyses by synthesizing data from multiple sources.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and proficiency in report building from raw data.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales environment required
  • Retail, CPG, and/or Food & Beverage industry knowledge preferred.

Salary Range

$90,000 annually.

The base pay range for this position is for a successful candidate within the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on multiple factors, such as work location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience.
