Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Roll Off Accounting Clerk to join the team here at the LeMay in Fredrickson, WA. Working out of the Pierce County Refuse office.

Looking for an innovative, creative, and proactive individual who enjoys working in a team environment but also excels working at an individual level. This position is responsible for ensuring that all customer accounts reflect all charges and payments, accurately and timely.

The schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8-5pm. The pay will start at $25.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Roll off billing which includes pulling multiple platforms of data, researching hauls, entering into billing system for posting processes.
  • Research account service pricing for proper billing processing and make needed corrections.
  • Pulling customer data and updating spreadsheet for daily tracking activity to provide to controllers.
  • Provide Roll off drivers performance activity to management from MOAB reports.
  • 2nd Review on department batches for posting. Post department batches.
  • Review and post department Work orders.
  • Posting and account audits.
  • Pulling data for analysis.
  • Track County abatement processes and billings.
  • Provide and track Federal, Donation, I/C adjustments for Lakewood transfer station.
  • Semimonthly and Monthly invoice billing processes.
  • Yearly reporting responsibilities.
  • Provide back up support for department positions. Includes cross training.

Experience:

  • 2+ years prior accounting experience.
  • Prior experience working with Excel.
  • Must possess a good understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Willing to learn and help controllers when needed.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
