The selected candidate will be a member of the GDLS JBLM/Sumner team. The ideal candidate would have a training background, be mechanically inclined, and have an Associates Degree.

JobDescription

  • Supervise a workforce of direct hire and contractor personnel, scheduling of manpower, work load, and priorities to supportNew Equipment Training (NET) and otherbusiness requirements.
  • Engage in constant communication with customer (internal and external), management, and personnel to ensure requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain 100% accountability of assigned equipment; to include preparing and submitting LDSdocumentation as required forlost orbroken equipment.
  • Manage assets to ensure supplies are available in a manner that will ensure a continuous flow of training as required.
  • Completecertification,maintenance and administrative forms and other paperwork related to performance of duties.
  • Provide platform instructional duties as required.
  • Ensure that all Instructors are trained and certified to teach variants as required.
  • Review POI and create training schedules as required to meet the customers needs.
  • Travel to Stryker NET sites to support training and coordination with supported units.
  • Perform individual and collective counseling to employees on a regular basis.
  • Ensure continuous improvement and compliance to ISO, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) andWSBM for continuous improvements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years related supervisory work experience.
  • Associates degree from an accredited school in a related business or technical discipline required.
  • Mustbe able to obtain and maintain a US Passport/Visa, and a corporate credit card for travel purposes.
  • Must be willing to travel to remote CONUS/OCONUS locations on short notice to supporttraining (NET)operations.
  • Must meet and maintain deployment requirementsas business needsnecessitate andmust be able to obtain base access per military installation requirements.
  • Must meet and maintain ASR requirements.
  • Must be able to successfully pass and maintainGDLS NETcertificationsonCommon Hull ICVVA1 OPNET within 90 days, or as suitable for Common Hull ICVVA1 FLMNET.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a CDL-B in order to operate the Stryker Family of Vehicles.
  • Must be able to successfully pass and maintain NACI background to obtain CAC (common access card)
  • Must be able to successfully pass and maintain background checks to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Additionaltechnical trainingor military expertisedirectly relatedthis position andworkare desired.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication (verbal and written) and supervisory skills.
  • Computer literatemust be capable of using MS suite of Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Should be familiar with web access/internet connections,ability to manage electronic files, archive, and retrievedocumentsupon request.
  • Experience directly related to position such as leading/supervising personnel in a trainingormaintenanceenvironment, strong hands-on experience intraining and new equipment trainingoperations are required.

Position Salary Range:New hires generally start between$73,600 and $87,000per year.Applicants placement within the range is based on qualifications and professional experience.The full salary range for the position isbetween$73,600 and $110,500per year.

Position Incentive: Hired applicant will be able to receive an annual bonus.
