Job Description

Parametrix, a leading engineering, planning, environmental sciences, and construction management firm is seeking a SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT to join our dedicated team of 10. This position will be based out of our Puyallup, Washington office or work a hybrid schedule with some remote flexibility. For an exceptional candidate we may consider another location where we have a Parametrix office. Travel would be required for team integration and connection. This position may require occasional travel for team collaboration, mentorship, and integration.

Who you are:

Experienced: Associate degree or equivalent and 6+ years of project billing experience from set-up through monthly invoicing and project completion/closeout in a complex environment. AEC industry experience is a required.

Knowledgeable: Previous experience and proficiency with project management/billing software. BST (or Deltek) preferred. Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook. Experience with project budget review and revenue recognition.

Relationship-focused: Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative approach, standout colleague, the ability to successfully navigate a diverse group of internal clients, and proven experience providing guidance and support to tenured project managers.

Love Details: You pride yourself on digging in to resolve issues, reviewing project charges, making corrections, researching issues, making recommendations for resolution, and preparing project invoices in compliance with contract provisions all while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and organization.

Excel at Communication: You have outstanding communication skills, attention to details, can multi-task and roll with interruptions. You are not afraid to reach out and follow up to get what you may need to be successful.

Base salary for this position is in the range of $80,000-$95,000. Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, location, and role. For all positions we conduct an equity review. Employee-owners are all eligible for performance-based bonuses based on key contributions. Salaries are reviewed at least once annually as part of our compensation program. We are transparent in our salary discussions and look forward to sharing more about our compensation structure and the value of being an employee-owner.
