Inventory Associate, Material Handler
Kent, WA
(Shift B Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1:30am)

Bluehawk Consulting is seeking an Inventory Specialist, Material Handler, to support our client, an aerospace leader. Our client is making space travel possible, and your work will directly support putting people, research, and products safely in space.

Project Overview
This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable space flight. Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling our client's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, organization, material handling, and experience within a warehouse.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect material from as-is packaging pallets, sorting in smaller bundles, re-packaging, labeling and electronically scanning parts to reshelve within the same warehouse.
  • Assure all materials are properly documented.
  • High attention to detail to ensure all parts are efficiently distributed to correct bundles.
  • Keep track of all products and supplies, ensuring that stock is organized, and may assist in the unloading and processing of deliveries of additional as-is pallets.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S).
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience within a warehouse, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of using bar code scanners and various warehouse operating tools such as a forklift.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, U.S. Permanent Resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a Refugee or granted asylum.
Education
Desired Education
  • B.S. or B.A. degree in a related field preferred or at least a few years' experience in a similar business environment warehouse.

Hourly Rate for this position: $25.00
